# Landscape Studio V2 asset provenance

The 16 garden library assets, procedural botanical geometry, leaf mask, boundary pieces, preview images and V2 background atlas are original 3DLabTools work, dedicated to the public domain under [CC0 1.0](https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/). Attribution is optional. Source geometry is generated deterministically by `apps/web/src/lib/landscape-studio/libraryGeometry.ts`; see `catalog.ts` for each asset's creator, provider, dimensions and license.

The V2 library does not derive its geometry or leaf mask from the earlier EZ-Tree library. Earlier MIT assets and their notices remain in `/environment-studio` for historical tooling; they are not loaded by the V2 viewport.

Shared photographs retain their original CC0 provenance:

These photographs were already bundled locally in V1, resized and converted to WebP. They are reused for color, normal and roughness maps; no displacement geometry is generated. `asset-manifest.json` preserves asset metadata, source and download URLs, modification notes and SHA-256 hashes of bundled maps and rendered derivatives. Regenerate it using `scripts/environment-studio/write-v2-provenance.cjs` after changing assets. Preview images and the small crossed background atlas are rendered locally using the checked-in bake scripts. No image generation service is used.

No full panorama is bundled. The optional 360 background setting uses the back/left/right procedural composition until a licensed panorama is available. All distant context is visual-only, excluded from collision, interactions and shadow casting. The imported house remains a separate user-owned asset; its license is not changed by this notice.

## Resource source identities

These stable anchors identify the original CC0 works in Resource import records. Models may also embed the shared CC0 photographs credited above. Their downloadable provenance archive records those sources and modifications.
